Alive Kids Coordinator — Early Childhood & Kindergarten

Full-TIME • WESTERN BRANCH

If you’re passionate about raising the next generation to live fully alive, consider joining the team at Alive Church. We’re seeking a coordinator to create safe, nurturing, Spirit-led environments where our youngest kids—infants through kindergarten—encounter God and grow in the way of Jesus, all while partnering with families from the moment they walk through the door.

Qualifications

A growing, evident walk with Jesus — marked by prayer, Scripture, integrity, and the fruit of the Spirit under pressure.

Active, engaged member of Alive Church: faithful in attendance, serving, tithing, and a Vision Partner, fully aligned with our doctrine, vision, and values.

A heart for children and families, with a desire to see kids encounter Jesus, grow in Him, and never walk away.

Experience in children’s ministry, classroom teaching, or a related role — early childhood settings preferred. High school diploma required; ministry, education, or child development coursework a plus.

Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop volunteer teams, with strong communication and organizational skills across multiple rooms and schedules.

Primary Responsibilities

Own the weekly Alive Kids experiences for infants through kindergarten — safe, clean, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environments where every leader is prepared.

Recruit, train, coach, and develop a healthy volunteer team; manage rosters, rotations, and huddles in Planning Center.

Maintain child protection, background-check, sanitation, allergy, diapering/feeding, and incident-reporting standards across every room.

Create an amazing welcome for every family — especially first-time guests — and follow the Alive Church Connections Process.

Execute the unified Alive Kids curriculum and Formation Strategy with excellence, using Western Branch as the proving ground for all campuses.

Alive Kids Coordinator — Elementary

We’re seeking a coordinator to lead an engaging, Spirit-led ministry for 1st through 5th graders — where elementary kids encounter God through teaching, worship, discussion, and play, get planted in His church, and grow into followers of Jesus who never walk away.
