We are a Spirit-filled, Spirit-led, praying community, growing as disciples of Jesus, becoming emotionally and spiritually whole, developing leaders, and serving those in need—all for the glory of God.
Pastors Michael and Megan Brueseke serve as the senior pastors of Alive Church—a multi-site church with locations in Chesapeake, Virginia; Downtown Suffolk, Virginia; and St. Louis, Missouri.
They believe the hope our communities need is found in the local church. Their passion is to see people become emotionally and spiritually whole, growing as disciples of Jesus, developing as leaders, and serving those in need. With a deep conviction that Jesus meant what He said, they teach that anyone can move from a life of mediocrity to a life of living fully alive by following Him and being led by the Holy Spirit.
Michael and Megan are the proud parents of five children—Boden, Claire, Titus, Soren, and Griffin—who bring joy and adventure into their lives.
