ALIVE KIDS DIRECTOR

WESTERN BRANCH
If you have passion for the next generation, love creating engaging and meaningful experiences for kids, thrive in building strong relationships with families, and love building teams then this may be the perfect role for you. The Kids Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of children’s ministry( 6 weeks-5th grade). This includes providing leadership and executing the vision of Alive Kids to create a dynamic, engaging, and Christ-centered environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, or a related field, or applicable work experience.
  • Proven experience leading in kid’s ministry, preferably in a large church setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to build, train, and manage teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a heart for kids ministry.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement vision and strategy of Alive Kids and ensure alignment with overall vision and values.
  • Recruit, train, equip, and lead teams of volunteers who are passionate about serving kids and families.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of all kids ministry experiences and events, including weekend services, and special events.
  • Build relationships with teams, providing encouragement, training opportunities, and feedback.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed and provide resources for spiritual development.
  • Manage the kids ministry budget ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Track attendance, serve team engagement, and other metrics to assess health and effectiveness.
  • Proficient in the use of Alive Church information management systems.
  • Steward materials, budget, and equipment well.

EVENT COORDINATOR HOSPITALITY DIRECTOR

WESTERN BRANCH

The Event Coordinator/Hospitality Director is responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of events at Alive Church. This role ensures all events at the Western Branch Campus create meaningful and welcoming experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment, and has a passion for hospitality and logistics.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven success in coordinating events and leading volunteers.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to build, train, and manage teams.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Western Branch Campus’ hospitality efforts, ensuring a welcoming and excellent environment.
  • Recruit, train, and lead all hospitality teams.
  • Partner with leadership to align hospitality with the church’s overall vision and goals.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee all church events at the Western Branch Campus, including but not limited to weekend services, conferences, worship nights, and other special events.
  • Develop event timelines and detailed plans, ensuring timely communication with staff and volunteers.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for vendors and service providers and manage relationships.
  • Build relationships with teams, providing encouragement, training opportunities, and feedback.
  • Coordinate logistics such as set-up, tear down, registration, decor, and catering.
  • Manage post-event evaluations to measure success and identify areas of improvement.
  • Track attendance, serve team engagement, and other metrics to assess health and effectiveness.
  • Proficient in the use of Alive Church information management systems.
  • Steward materials, budget, and equipment well.
