OUR SENIOR PASTORS

MICHAEL AND MEGAN BRUESEKE

Pastors Michael and Megan Brueseke serve as the senior pastors of Alive Church—a multi-site church with locations in Chesapeake, Virginia; Downtown Suffolk, Virginia; and St. Louis, Missouri.

They believe the hope our communities need is found in the local church. Their passion is to see people become emotionally and spiritually whole, growing as disciples of Jesus, developing as leaders, and serving those in need. With a deep conviction that Jesus meant what He said, they teach that anyone can move from a life of mediocrity to a life of living fully alive by following Him and being led by the Holy Spirit.

Michael and Megan are the proud parents of five children—Boden, Claire, Titus, Soren, and Griffin—who bring joy and adventure into their lives.

Next Generation

We are passionately committed to raising the next generation to live fully alive — growing as disciples of Jesus, becoming emotionally and spiritually whole, and deeply rooted in His Church. Through Alive Kids and Alive Youth, we create age-specific environments that are fun, safe, and full of faith.
