Lent: a journey to easter

Depending on your church background, Lent may be something new to you. For hundreds of years, the Church has engaged in this practice to prepare for the celebration of Easter.
During Lent, we focus on a few key areas: prayer, repentance, serving, and giving. It’s a season for us to grow in our faith, remove distractions, and believe God for big things.
Some of what we’ll be doing as a community includes:
- Weekly focuses and prayers to guide us in our journey.
- Opportunities to engage as believers, allowing God to change our mindsets.
- Growing in expectancy as we prepare our hearts to celebrate the resurrection and understand why Easter matters so much.
As a church, we are embracing this season together, honoring the rhythms of the liturgical calendar while also living fully as a Spirit-filled community.
